I liked the price of my room; when all other similar properties were extremely expensive for the period that I needed to go to San Francisco, the Mark Twain still had reasonable rates.
On the last night of my stay the fire alarm in my room went off for no reason. The staff was helpful, but it is the kind of thing that should simply not occur. I only was able to sleep for a couple of hours after that, as it had made me nervous about what might happen next.
